OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS CARE
Preparing children for the school day ahead with sports, craft, cooking and quiet activities.
Homework, Home-reading, sports, craft and healthy afternoon tea daily alongside qualified educators and teachers on staff.
Our Vacation Care programs are developed with a strong focus on inclusivity, sports, craft, cooking, excursions, in-service activities and most of all FUN!
Peak Sports and Learning was born when three school teachers Grant Neill, Ashleigh Neill and John Good, identified a gap in the market for families who required access to a quality after school care program.
Grant, Ashleigh and John are truly dedicated to educating young people and their families on the importance of being the best version of themselves inside and out. So their objective was to provide a service that promoted a healthy lifestyle and offered academic support with qualified school teachers on staff.
The trio identified the primary customer as working parents who were time-poor, juggling family and working-life balance. They set out to ensure that when parents picked up their children from Peak Sports and Learning their children, at minimum, had:
eaten a healthy and nutritious afternoon tea,
participated in physical activity,
and completed any home readers and homework brought home from school -alongside a qualified educator.
Since its inception in 2010, Peak Sports and Learning has opened 26 centres throughout primary schools in the community focusing on fitness, education and fun. And along the way they developed a great collaborative relationship with the NSW Department of Education.

Happy kids in our Care

Our philosophy is based on the concepts of FITNESS, EDUCATION & FUN! The three ingredients to getting children actively involved in sports, learning and most of all having rewarding, fun experiences whilst in the process. It is our goal that our program meets the intellectual, moral, social, creative, emotional, and physical wellbeing of each child. We provide a uniquely balanced educational program that fosters the development of children’s learning in all of these aspects. We value the foundation that a healthy and happy childhood gives to a successful and happy life.
We endeavour to deliver a program that creates stimulating and enriching educational experiences inclusive to all children based on the needs of our families, children and community. Based on this foundation of needs our established program has strong foundations which encourage active lifestyles through physical activity and social skills, challenging learning activities and interactions that foster high-level thinking skills
We do this in an environment that provides the highest level of education and care for each individual child in a warm, nurturing and safe environment. This environment incorporates children engaging in indoor and outdoor learning opportunities.
We strive to create a welcoming environment of collaboration, that enables building meaningful relationships, with each individual child, all families and members of the community. We provide experiences that demonstrating an ongoing commitment to developing cultural competence and inclusivity. Our environment plays a critical role in fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance to ensure all children feel safe and secure in our care. We ensure that we foster an environment that is inclusive, shows respect and appreciation for cultural diversity and cares for the environment and building sustainable practices.
We believe in order to deliver this program and foster such an environment, we have to have the right people. We employ and continually develop the most exceptional Educators who have a genuine passion working with children and the professional knowledge and exemplary practice to deliver high quality care and high-quality learning experiences for school aged children.
